Another terrible week as far as training goes. Monday through Thursday went well, but the duty and Marketing Management combo served as a successful buzz kill. I have been lifting a lot and actually gained about 3 pounds, but I need to spend more time on my feet. Time is something I am running short on - candidates are still on deck, Marketing Management class, duty, etc. I'm calling this past week the calm before the storm - next week I plan to do two-a-day workouts Mon and Wed. I am also planning an overnight, self-supported, 60-mile training run Friday night: first 30 miles on my own, second 30 miles with the MMT100 training run Saturday morning. Only 4 weeks until Tammany. Once my class ends on 14 Mar I'll have more time and energy to significantly increase my mileage to train for BRR50 and the 48-hour run in May. Ultimately, these miles are all training for either Mogollon Monster 100 or Grindstone 100 in Sep/Oct.
