A better week than I thought it would be after Tammany, which was tough on my quads. After a day of rest and two days on a stationary bike, I hit the trails again on Wednesday for 9 miles with Brandon and Glyn. Surprisingly, I felt good afterwards and kept it going all week. Friday we hiked around in the field but I felt fine throughout the day. I did another run with Glyn this morning for about 3 hours - it rained the entire time and we ran the majority of it through ankle-deep swamps and streams. The three of us might head to Buck Hollow tomorrow for some hill training, weather dependent. My goal for next week is to run 70-80 miles to get ready for Bull Run Run 50 in two weeks.
